Mrs. Valerie Johnson – Extended Day Director

Hi! I’m Mrs. Valerie Johnson, the Extended Day Director here at Barkley Bridge Elementary. I’m a proud 1983 graduate of Falkville High School and have been part of the Hartselle City Schools family for about 20 years. Working with children brings me so much joy—there’s never a dull moment when you're surrounded by their energy and laughter!

I’ve been married to my husband, Greg Johnson, for many wonderful years. We have two amazing children, Jeremy and Tiffany, and a great son-in-law, Jace. One of my greatest joys in life is being Mimi to my grandchildren, Casen and Whitley—they keep me on my toes and fill my heart with happiness.

When I’m not at school, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends, making memories and enjoying life’s little moments. I’m so thankful to be a part of the Barkley Bridge community and look forward to another great year!
